Scores and conflict results are signals to help you decide, not a prediction of the USPTO's decision. A good score does not guarantee registration; registration is the USPTO's decision and depends on a full clearance and examination. Confirm anything important with a licensed trademark attorney before filing.
You're responsible for verifying results at the source (search.uspto.gov) and for your filing decisions. The service is provided "as is," without warranties, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us.
If MCInvent rates your mark Strong and you file it, and the USPTO refuses that application under §2(d) (likelihood of confusion) within twelve months of the rating, email us the refusal and your serial number and we will refund every dollar you have paid us. One claim per mark. It covers what you paid MCInvent — not your USPTO filing fees, and not an attorney's time, because we are not an insurer and will not promise cover we cannot fund.
We can offer this because it is the claim the product actually makes. A Strong rating means we found nothing close in the index we searched on the date we searched it, and that date is published on every result and at /coverage. If we are wrong often enough for this to hurt, the score deserves to be fixed rather than sold.
Pro is a subscription billed through Stripe. You can cancel anytime, yourself — log in and use Manage subscription in the header, which opens Stripe's billing portal (cancel, update your card, download invoices). No email or phone call required. You keep Pro until the end of the current billing period; you won't be charged again. Because access is delivered immediately, fees are generally non-refundable — but if something went wrong or you were charged in error, email us within 14 days and we'll make it right. USPTO filing fees are separate and paid to the USPTO, not to us.
